Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh along with (from right) Governor of Arunachal Pradesh JJ Singh, Arunachal CM Dorjee Khandu, Union Minister of DONER Mani Shankar Aiyar and the Minister of State Prime Minister’s office Prithivi Raj Chauhan at the inauguration of the Indira Gandhi Park in Itanagar, capital of Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday, January 31, 2008. Prime Minister has announced ten thousand corer package for the development of Arunachal Pradesh. Manmohan Singh will also lay the foundation stone of the country’s biggest 3,000 MW multipurpose Dibang power project in Arunachal Pradesh on February 1. Prime Minister will also visit forward areas of India-China border in Anjaw and Lohit districts of Arunachal Pradesh during his two day maiden visit to the border state.
